I have sewn for over 45 years. I utilise a variety of tools and techniques to provide efficient repairs and alterations using general and decorative sewing and use of overlocker and cover-stitch machines as well as hand sewing.
I am passionate about reducing landfill by reducing textile wastage.
I use critical problem solving to complete complex alterations/repairs and identification of a wide range of fabric types that are suitable for upcycling.
I have opened SewAble in 2019 as a local, eco-conscious, creative and adaptive alteration, repair and upcycle service.
